I was born in Illinois but moved to the west side of Michigan in 2005. I met my awesome husband and we were married shortly thereafter. After trying for many years to start a family and experiencing multiple losses, we were blessed with two children who keep us on our toes. Although this was a very challenging time for us, I am thankful for the strength and love which came from this phase of life. I truly believe we can learn something from trials and phases of life that can make us a stronger human being.

My knowledge and experience include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, infertility, end of life issues and care needs, chronic health conditions and perinatal mood disorders. I have had the privilege to walk people through all phases of life- from infertility issues to end of life hospice care. I believe people have the ability to successfully navigate challenges and phases in their life with the right partnership and support.
